How you fit in

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the Bookkeeper is a key player in the Finance department and the organization as a whole. The Staff Accountant is a 24 position, responsible for full cycle bookkeeping to the Trial Balance, as well as Accounts Payable, HR support, Operations support, reporting, documentation, and vendor and client relations as they relate to accounting.

You Will Make an Impact By

  • Performing full cycle bookkeeping, to trial balance
  • Managing Accounts Payable and Vendor accountant relations
  • Providing Accounts Receivable & Chargeback support for Billing team
  • Providing Payroll support where required
  • Assisting in FYE process
  • Completing GST/QST filing
  • Providing Financial Reporting
  • Performing Internal audits
  • Providing support to individuals and teams in all departments

Who you are:

  • You are fully versed in Canadian and Quebec business accounting
  • You are analytical and hands-on 
  • You are precise and exact
  • You are autonomous and proactive


  • Certification, Diploma, or Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • 5 years of experience in Accounting
  • Experience with Payroll
  • Experience with Quickbooks/Quickbooks Online a plus
  • English fluency required; functional French an asset
