Job Summary

WHC is looking for a skilled professional to help build Canada’s online growth platform. 

Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Sales, the Senior Product Manager, Cloud & Hosting works closely with the CEO, the Domain Product Manager, and the Engineering team. They play a key role in establishing the strategy, roadmap, features, and pricing for WHC’s core infrastructure products. These products currently include: Web Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Cloud, Dedicated, and Managed WordPress.

This hybrid role offers a blend of remote and on-site work at our WHC office, located in Montreal's vibrant Little Italy. We are open to fully remote candidates, but on-site presence will be required as needed.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Build, and drive the product strategy and roadmap for WHC’s entire suite of Hosting & Servers products
  • Participate in the product development process, collaborating closely with engineering, design, and other teams to ensure products are developed according to roadmap
  • Craft pitches for new features and improvements
  • Prepare mockups and wireframes with the Design team
  • Participate in market, competitor and user research
  • Write and groom the product backlog
  • Help develop and execute go-to-market plans in collaboration with the marketing, sales, and customer experience teams
  • Define and monitor success KPIs
  • Help establish product pricing to ensure alignment with financial targets
  • Serve as the main point of contact for hosting and cloud product-related questions and updates

Who You Are 

  • You are a proven master of product, experienced at building and growing software, platform or infrastructure products
  • You are customer-centric and understand the needs of Canadian small businesses
  • You are a tech or cloud veteran with extensive industry experience and insight
  • You are skilled at interpreting insights from market trends and feedback from users to make better product decisions
  • You drive innovative ideas, solutions and products through leadership and decisive action
  • You are the go-to person who will monitor and manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch and beyond

Qualifications 

  • 7+ years experience as a Product Manager with technical and customer-facing experience
  • 7+ years of experience in the tech industry, preferably SaaS, PaaS, and/or IaaS
  • Exceptional communication (French and English) + interpersonal skills
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience with Cloud services, IT services, or subscription-based tech (SaaS, PaaS or IaaS) an asset
